The Day the World Ended	The Day the World Ended (2001) is inspired by the 1956 classic monster movie of the same name. In this new version, Bobby Edner plays 9-year-old Benjamin James McCann. Ben is a quiet, friendless, and odd little boy who lives in a small Nevada town and loves to read comic books about aliens. His single mom died under suspicious circumstances 5 years ago. After her death, Ben was adopted by the town doctor, Michael McCann (Randy Quaid). One of Ben's oddities is that he is convinced that his REAL dad is an alien who will someday come back to earth to retrieve him. The town's calmness, and young Ben's life, get rattled when a new school psychiatrist, Dr. Jennifer Stillman (Nastassja Kinski), comes to town and takes an interest in the boy. When she starts to help Ben uncover some memories about his mom and her demise, a string of strange and terrifying events start to unfold. Trial of Old Drum	The Trial of Old Drum (2000) is a heartwarming boy-and-his-dog movie about Charlie (Bobby Edner) and his trusted pal, Old Drum. Charlie's pooch is accused of killing local sheep, which eventually leads to the trial of Old Drum. The story takes place in 1955 in Warrensburg, Missouri. "The Trial of Old Drum" is based on actual events that happened in Warrensburg in 1870 when lawyer and future senator George Graham Vest represented the Burden's in the real trial.
