Freddie Boath

Full Name: Freddie Boath
Date of Birth, Location:
May 6, 1991, London, England.

Freddie Boath made his debut as a charming young newcomer to the screen playing Alex O'Connell in "The Mummy Returns," a 2001 sequel to 1999's "The Mummy."  Freddie actually turned down the chance to audition for the role of Harry Potter to make the mummy flick!  Freddie said, "Actually, I was going to go to the auditions but then I changed my mind.  I didn't really want the part because I was doing this film and it was going to take a long time to make the Harry Potter film."  But it's no wonder that he turned down the Harry Potter chance - or anything else for that matter.  Freddie adores the 1999 mummy film so much that he watched it 58 times!  In fact whenever anyone involved in making "The Mummy Returns" had a question about the first film, they'd ask Freddie.  Co-star Brendan Fraser (who plays Alex's dad, Rick O'Connell) said, "He knows all the lines, all the plot points, he remembers them chronologically and he can also describe the rooms."

Freddie was nominated for the 2000-2001 Young Artist Award for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A FEATURE FILM, Supporting Young Actor, for "THE MUMMY RETURNS."
